This all started back in 1941 when Gerald Crosby (my farther) purchased what is now known as "FAR VUE FARM". Maple trees on the south Limestone Ridge were being tapped in the spring of 1942 while plans were being made to purchase a herd of dairy cows from his Uncle David Crosby. There is a never ending flow of spring water from the ledge. These two natural resources are a "God Send" to this farm and our lively hood.  (I think that the limestone base for the maple trees is the reason that our maple syrup is some of the best) The milk side of the farming operation has many 100"s of pounds of milk produced and sold to Dairylea Coopertive from  start in 1942 to September  2000 when the herd was sold.

From September  to date and contining we harvest hay and maple syrup annually.

 June of 1969  I Larry, married my high school sweetheart, Sally Nikolaus. We have two daughters and five grand children and three great grand children.

So, we keep doing all we can to expand the  business to continue profitability for the next generation. As often as he is able, we have a nephew, Philip Nikolaus Jr., who helps with anything that needs to be done to accomplish this dream.
